EUAM Iraq supports the First National Conference on Activating the Implementation Requirements of the Iraqi National Security Strategy 2025–2030, which brought together Ministers, members of the National Security Council’s Deputy Ministers Board, heads of diplomatic missions, international organisations and agencies operating in Iraq, as well as members of the Permanent Committee for the NSS and its Secretariat.

EUAM Iraq has played a key role in supporting the development of Iraq’s NSS, including facilitating study visits to Spain and Germany for Iraqi officials. As the NSS moves into its implementation phase, the Mission will continue to support the National Security Advisory in strategic planning and institutional reform.
